MIT Regional Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program (MIT REAP) alumni and current participants are invited to be a part of the first MIT REAP Global Innovation Network convening in London, UK from December 12-13th, 2016. MIT REAP will organize the workshop exclusively for MIT REAP Alumni on Monday, December 12th, 2016 so that it will take place day before the Accelerating Developing World through Entrepreneurship and Finance conference on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 at Level 39 Technology Accelerator. During the MIT REAP Workshop past participants will meet more recent graduates and current participants and discuss their current regional strategies and ongoing projects. Participants will also hear from MIT REAP faculty and they will meet 1-1 with REAP faculty and coaches.
After the REAP workshop, the Accelerating Developing World through Entrepreneurship and Finance conference is being hosted by the MIT Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship and the MIT Sloan Office of International Programs. The goal of this conference is practical and action-oriented:
- Convene a range of distinctive voices including newly formed teams and successful CEOs, NGOs and impact investors, policy makers and academics;
- Find new ways to support and connect entrepreneurs as they develop life-changing solutions to the world’s toughest challenges;
- Create jobs and give communities an economic opportunity to grow and prosper.
