The MIT REAP Riyadh Team’s goal is to position Riyadh as a financial hub by 2030, focusing on innovating and leading in Fintech and catalyzing digitalization across new business service segments. To achieve this vision, the team plans to leverage MIT’s experience and global best practices through the following outcomes: conducting a thorough assessment of Riyadh’s ecosystem using MIT REAP tools and frameworks, identifying the region’s innovation ecosystem’s weaknesses, strengths, and comparative advantages in its current state, utilizing MIT knowledge to understand effective drivers of innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystems and implementing critical programs and policies accordingly, formulating a tailored strategy and action plan to accelerate regional prosperity through innovation-driven entrepreneurship, and establishing a monitoring plan to measure performance and ensure the successful execution of the strategy.
